THE STORY BEHIND BETONVTON
From concrete décor to retail display systems
Betonvton began in 2019 in a one-room apartment, where our founder hand-cast small concrete décor pieces. She could start early in the morning, work until three at night and wake up the next day inspired to continue. What began as a small creative project gradually grew into a studio shaped by curiosity, persistence and a genuine love of design.
Soon, product photographers began asking us to create custom props for product shoots. Those first requests defined the next stage of our journey and inspired us to develop versatile podiums, blocks and sculptural forms that could be combined in different ways for product photography and visual content.
As demand grew, we moved first into a small workshop and later into a dedicated production studio equipped for more complex projects. After relocating to Sweden, we continued to refine our manufacturing process and deepen our understanding of product presentation, brand design and retail display design. We follow evolving trends in product photography and visual merchandising while remaining committed to a clean, timeless aesthetic.
Today, jewelry displays are one of our core areas of expertise. From our studio in Örebro, Sweden, we create display blocks, trays, ring holders, necklace displays and coordinated custom sets for jewelry boutiques and the presentation of new collections. We also design retail display blocks and modular podium systems for cosmetics, accessories and other products presented in stores, showrooms, window displays, pop-ups and exhibitions.
We value minimalism not simply as an aesthetic choice, but as a way to keep the product in focus. Clean shapes, carefully considered proportions and coordinated finishes create a refined setting without competing with the object being displayed. Concrete and high-strength mineral gypsum remain among our favorite materials because their tactile surfaces and substantial feel add depth, authenticity and a sense of quality to a presentation.
Customization is an essential part of our work. We collaborate with independent brands, boutiques and retailers, fulfil wholesale orders and develop display solutions tailored to each brand’s products, color palette and visual identity.
